Kids Tales to Trails Summer Reading Program

WELCOME TO THE Kids TALES TO TRAILS SUMMER READING PROGRAM!

Log your reading from July 5th - August 20th
Orchard Park Library's Kids Summer Reading Program is designed for kids ages 12 & under to win prizes by tracking the number of minutes they read during the summer.

How it works:

Prizes are earned in 100 minute increments. For every 100 minutes of reading logged, participants will automatically receive a badge redeemable for a prize from the library! Prizes change weekly so make sure to log your reading often!
Parents of pre-reading children may read to their young children and track the minutes read in order for their child to earn prizes.
When a child logs 1,000 reading minutes they will earn a Grand Prize badge, redeemable for a free book to take home and keep! Book prizes are courtesy of the Friends of the Orchard Park Public Library.
There are a few ways to redeem your prize badges: #1 You may print out your badge at home and give it to a staff member at the Information Desk at the Orchard Park Library. OR #2 Parents can use the ReadSquared app show staff at the Information Desk their child's badge. OR #3. A participant can fill out a reading log at the information desk to collect their prize.
There is a weekly logging limit of 700 minutes (that works out to a little over 11/2 hours per day in a 7 day week).
Once a child finishes the Online Summer Reading Program, they may continue to log reading and earn prizes.

Teen Tales to Trails Summer Reading Program

Welcome to the Teen Tales to Trails Summer Reading Program!

Log your reading from July 5th - August 20th
Orchard Park Library's Teen Summer Reading Program is designed for teens ages 13 -17 to win prizes by tracking the number of minutes they read during the summer.

How it works:

Raffle tickets are earned in 100 minute increments. For every 100 minutes of reading logged, participants will earn one raffle ticket to our weekly prize drawing AND will have 1 raffle ticket entered into our end of summer Grand Prize raffle!
There is a weekly logging limit of 840 minutes (that's approximately 2 hours per day).
You will be notified when you earn a raffle ticket(s) and you will automatically be entered into the raffles.
The library will conduct a drawing every Friday afternoon to determine the weekly prize winner. The winner will be notified the following Monday.
The drawing for the Teen Tales to Trails Summer Reading Program Grand Prize will take place after August 20th. The winner will be notified by phone the following week.
If you win a weekly prize, you are still eligible to win additional weekly prizes and the Grand Prize.

Adult Tales to Trails Summer Reading Program

Orchard Park Library's Adult Summer Reading Program is designed for adults ages 18 & up to win prizes by tracking the number of minutes they read during the summer.

How it works:

Raffle tickets are earned in 100 minute increments. For every 100 minutes of reading logged, participants will earn one raffle ticket to our weekly prize drawing AND will have 1 raffle ticket entered into our end of summer Grand Prize raffle!
